Bob Smith is the Founder and CEO of Commercial Judgment Recovery.
For over 25 years, he was responsible for collecting lease and loan payments from corporate and individual lessees, borrowers, and guarantors. He directly reviewed or supervised over $6 Billion in big-ticket (above $1 Million) domestic and international equipment debt and lease transactions.
Prior to his early retirement, he served for 14 years as Corporate Credit Officer for Boeing Capital Corporation, a national equipment leasing company. Before that, he was the Credit Manager for a major Midwest commercial bank.
During his career, Bob’s steadfast goal was to minimize bad debts and losses through stringent front-end due diligence, portfolio monitoring and the relentless pursuit of delinquent debtors / lessees. In the equipment leasing industry, he is well known for his success in accomplishing this objective.
Bob holds California Private Investigator’s License # 25929. Bob was elected Vice President and President Elect of the California Association of Judgment Professionals (CAJP). Bob is also a Member of the National Judgment Network, the Sierra Judgment Network and the National Association of Investigative Specialists.
